Wrestlemania XXX predictions and fallout

We are almost there! Wrestlemania is shaping up to possibly be the biggest and possibly greatest of all time.
At this time of year, every year, I look forward to the show of shows and get as excited as a kid at Christmas time. Sometimes, it can feel like wasted happiness once that last match has finished and it's all done with. "That's it. Good bye. I'll be back for your money next year!" Kinda like Christmas some years.

But THIS year! This year is going to be big and as important a night as WCW's fold to the WWE. I feel like WWE has the potential to pull off something that will change it forever.
The matches on paper look great and every one has the ability to change the pace, direction and future of the Superstars involved if not the whole WWE.

Will it all be as big as I hope? We have to wait and see but let's have a look as to why I think this Sunday could be so important.

Fast Three Count with Miss Paige Martin

Thanks to Miss Paige for the #FastThreeCount.

Emma

With the potential to be a major player...ress? in the game, I hope to see her in something than a dance off or a copy and paste comedy couple.
With an influx of lady stars at the ready to make their way to the main roster and the success of Total Divas maybe just maybe the Divas Division will start making its own history and I hope the name Emma is all over it.
She is rather purdy to boot!

Title

There are probably enough wrestling title belts, real or replica, in the world to hold up the trousers of a large European city.
Speaking of titles and Europe. There's a picture of WWE's best looking title belt, yes I am a tad bias. But it was just so nice to look at.
I don't own any replica belts, but I would love to make this the first if I ever do.

Hot

Hot? Molly Holly was hot. Molly Holly was proper hot as Mighty Molly.

Hot.

Thanks again to @MissPaigeMartin a fellow follower and SegHead for the Sunday Segue podcast and one of the gooduns of the IWC.

Fast Three Count with @WrestlingChron

My good pal Erik from the The Wrestling Chronicle sent me this Fast Three Count.

Paul Heyman

Possibly wrestlings 2nd biggest genius behind McMahon. I gotta believe that his only downfall with the business is his love for the business. I get the impression he's too much of a purist and actual wrestling fan to achieve what McMahon has done business wise.
On screen he is easily one of the best talkers and knows exactly how to tap into a audiences head. Heel, face, manager, commentator, promoter or writer I love what he does.

Bobby Heenan

Never understood how great this man is until the internet came about. Yeah I'd seen him on the commentary table and managing but I was too young and simple minded to appreciate the brains behind The Brain.
A truly magical wrestling personality and just as entertaining as anyone who has stepped foot in or around the ring.
Now in a loud clear voice say with me "We the Weasel!".

Jim Cornette

Watching Cornette as youngster I knew he was different from other on screen characters. I never knew it at the time but it's because he works from the hip and shoots the script.
Looking back he seems to have been a bit of a line blurrer.
I still find him awkward to watch be it on a show or shoot interview, he's never caught my interest and he held a tennis racket for some reason.

Thanks to @WrestlingChron for giving me the #FastThreeCount. Go and check out the thewrestlingchronicle.com for the latest Piledriver Podcast and a knowledge for US independent wrestling and WWE.

If you have a #FastThreeCount just drop me the hashtag and your three wrestling thingys, doodahs and whatsits on twitter.com/KingBingus.

Happy Birthday @SundaySegue

This week Kinny Killa and Sugs over at Sunday Segue podcast celebrated their 52nd weekly episode... quick maths... That's a year! Happy first birthday!

Yeah the guys invited me on their birthday show, which as always was genuinely happy accept so if you have already listened to the show have heard me give all the box ticking birthday pleasantries. But now that I've listened to the episode... Yeah I listen to myself. It's a way of trying to get better at the podcasting malarkey.
Anyways, now I've listened to the show and had a chance to think about things I really want to give a big thank you to the lads.

Fast Three Count

This Fast Three Count comes from @TheMCook

Cena

Like Hogan but younger.

Hogan

Like Cena but older.

Wyatt

A strange Kane/Raven hybrid that has been spawned by an accountant.
This guy is super hot as far as response and appeal go and has the potential to forge a very remembered career and become someone we talk about for years after his last Sister Abbie. (We're cool like that, she just calls me King Bing)

Fast Three Count

This Fast Three Count is from @JamesPowers33

Bell

Louder than Vickie Guerrero and makes more official wrestling history than any champion ever. Once the bell rings we get to see wrestling. Mics down and wrist tape up time!
Some great things have happened between bells but no one wants to hear it toll ten times.

Fight

Every so often, not so much since the Attitude Era , we get to see a fight in wrestling. Be it a match, a boiler room brawl, bar room brawl invitational or a straight up slugfest of a segments like Edge and Matt Hardy or JBL and Blue Meanie from One Night Stand.
Me? I do love a good fisticuffs betwixt honourable gentlemen!

Pin

In 9.9 out of 10 times the 1-2-3 means Goodnight Irene. The other .05 refers to Sean Waltman's old character and the last .05 refers to a shady call to stop Bryan from winning and keeping the gold.
This part of the match brings on emotions ranging on a huge scale from disappointment, anger, happiness and a almost shameful love.

#SexyBoyNo1

That's the hashtag! #SexyBoyNo1. Let's make it quite trendy. As some of you may know I have a little goal to try and get the IWC masses, novelty lovers, old wrestling fans, music buyers to get Shawn Michaels' WWE theme music to get to Number 1 in a music chart, at the least grab a Top 40 spot.

To make this ....Boyhood dream a reality we all need to spread the word and keep in mind Monday 31st March. This is the date that purchases of the track will count towards the official chart and make that dream come true.

All you gotta do to help achieve this is just download the Sexy Boy track on iTunes on Monday 31st March or before April 6th.

There are a handful of supporters and IWC corner stones who want to see this done including @AEPodcast, TeamRock Radio @Beez_says4CRs own and IWC HOF @BunnySuicida, the UKs Sunday staple @SundaySegue and good friend of mine and yours, Erik over at the The Wrestling Chronicle!

I don't really have any motives for starting this than just something fun that the IWC can do together and just get wrestling noticed by the people who would normally pass on by, get remembered by those who have forgotten and just to celebrate Wrestlemania week with Mr.Wrestlemania himself good ol' HBShizzle Shawn Michaels.

We've got a couple of weeks to get this moving and noticed, so help spread the word, its 99p, use the #, use the link, get people on it!

Q&A with Kendra Creek

IWC? You know that thing right? It's pretty much a big deal to you if you're reading this. Internet Wrestling Community..... Community. Nope, not a nod to Kennedy Anderson but an emphasis on community.

Since "joining" the IWC I've been amazed on how many people I've had the chance to talk with via keyboard or Skype. Whether people actually take in, listen or even care what I say, I just love being able to be a part of something like this.

The people that make up the IWC are just like a real physical community. Each person has their own life, story, experiences and I want to personally get to know some of the IWC pillars better. I do what I can on twitter but it can be quite impersonal and always very short, so I've started reaching out, tapping a few shoulders and trying to get know you all. Podcasts, interviews even plain emails I love taking part.

Kendra Creek is one of the people I reached out for a short interview. I'm very grateful and happy she took the time to give it a go.
If you wanna find out a little more about the Miss @kendra_creek please read on and give her a shout! She would do disgusting things with Ric Flair, if you dig that kinda thing.

Name:
Kendra Creek

Age:
26

Where are you?
I live in Evansville Indiana, which is a town of about 100,000 people. I grew up in a small town in southern Indiana, with about 800 people.

When and how did you become a fan of WWE?
I became a fan of WWE in April 2012. My brother has always had a love for wrestling, and I just started watching one day.

How did you get involved with the IWC?
I started an account on Twitter in February 2013. I saw something Martin Dixon tweeted from the bunny suicida account and started following him. He was hilarious and introduced me to everyone at 4CR.

Four For RAW

After last nights escapade and crash on the first junction on The Road to Wrestlemania tonight is already proving to be a huge night. If not on screen but everywhere else in the world.

A few things that we can be sure of are we have a Royal Rumble victor whose name isn't Victor at all, it is Batista.
Bray Wyatt is moving on up to the guillotine by feuding with Cena.
The New Age Outlaws are the WWE SIX TIME TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS OF THE WOOOOORRRRLLLLDD!
And Randy Orton is still the WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

Tonight of all nights the fans in attendance have to be heard. From start to finish they have to be the entire IWC and Universe's voices. They have the chance to really show WWE what we think and get someone to take notice.
I'm hoping they'll blow the roof off for the entire 3 hours while us at home can do the same from where you are right now.

The Royal F'N Rumble...

*Warning: This may come across as rantish, nonsensical and not the usual style I post. That's because I'm going on 3 hours sleep, being robbed of 20 quid from a billion dollar company and just going on a bender on twitter with anyone that'll listen!*

Now by the Royal F'N Rumble I don't mean it like EC F'N W but more like Miley F'N Cyrus.
Normally I am upbeat, positive and always try to find the silver lining, but watching this years Rumble has got me, well, wanting to trap my wobbly bits it the kitchen drawer.

Shawn Michaels 'Sexy Boy' theme number 1 for 'Mania Sunday

Just a little catch up with all those currently following and a welcome to all the new lot!

Response so far has been great for this pipedream, some good help and positive feedback to get Shawn Michaels' theme 'Sexy Boy' to number 1 or at least chart in the UK and US charts for Wrestlemania Sunday.

With Mania being on April 6th the purchasing of the single should be made from Monday March 31st in order for sales to count towards Wrestlemania.

Assuming most will be purchased on itunes keep a look out for which one you buy, some of the versions aren't exactly arena worthy. Here's a link for a goodun 'Sexy Boy' .

Give me a shout if you're on board, let's get this going with plenty of time.

To Benoit or not to Benoit - @HulkingLungfish

This post comes to you from @HulkingLungfish on Twitter. He's a great follower of mine and someone I consider to be one the good ones. Lungfish has a great mind for wrestling and is like many of us is frustrated with the 140 limit.
I'm honoured to have been asked by HulkingLungfish if he could post something on KBW and without further a do, here is his thoughts on Chris Benoit and his inclusion on the soon to be WWE Network.

To Benoit or not to Benoit

I'm going to discuss possibly the most controversial issue in the history of professional wrestling.
On WWE TV a couple of weeks back, a very brief shot of someone being pinned was shown on an advert for a WWE DVD. That man was identified as Chris Benoit.

Chris Benoit murdered his wife and child and then killed himself in 2007. That is a fact that can not be bent or changed in any way. That is the truth and there is no getting away from it.
He was also an exceptional professional wrestler, World Champion and participant in some of what rightly should be called the greatest matches of all time.

Monday Night Carlo

This week over in Twitterland I've stumbled upon on someone new. Yeah sure we find all kinds of new stuff all over the internet daily, hourly if not quicker but this fella is one the good ones. One of the good ones of the IWC.

Carlo is a gent and a great wrestling fan. As per many of my fellow IWC members he's a friendly guy and just wants to join and build wrestling communities. It's such a great quality to have anywhere in life but here in the IWC I honestly do feel a little more positivity is needed to actually help celebrate what we love rather than berate it.

Make 'Sexy Boy' A Wrestlemania Number One!

So we enter a new calendar year which is the same old bag of new starts and resolutions to which we fail and make ourselves feel miserable and unaccomplished. But to keen WWE fans it could be considered the first junction on the Road to Wrestlemania.

I love simply love Wrestlemania. As an adult that doesn't really follow football or NFL the F.A Cup and the Superbowl doesn't do much for me but Wrestlemania is my World Cup Final. I've grown up looking forward to Wrestlemania Sunday for 15 years now and the whole build up for the months before just gets me so hyped for the Grandest Stage of All.

Once we get into the final stretch, the last week, the go home shows, Wrestlemania is ALIVE!
This year I want to make it different.

We all remember the night of IZOD and how Fandango went on a chartbusting mission. The IWC plus one, almost got the Fandango theme song to crack the UK Top 40.
As it was unfolding I got thinking. If 'Killing In The Name' could be Christmas number 1 why couldn't 'Sexy Boy' become a Wrestlemania week charting track?

Shawn Michaels is Mr. Wrestlemania, his entrance theme is one of the all time best, it will be Mania week and maybe just maybe, it will be a fun thing to celebrate with IWC, wrestling fans and non fans alike.

So I would like to get the ball rolling, get the word out and try and get a few people on the band wagon with this. Please do spread the word and help achieve something great for the IWC.

Four for RAW

So here it is the go home RAW before Heck in a Cell. Leading into PPVs RAW normally delivers a wrestle light, segment heavy kind of show maybe to protect talent and leave us wanting the physicality more at the PPV. With the contract signing between Bryan and Orton I think there is a good chance that we may not see either of the two in a actual match tonight.
So what can RAW offer us before entering the Devil's Playground.

Personally I love a big brawl to end a RAW going into a PPV, it leaves things evenly matched between opponents as it's not a one on one situation. With contract signings usually ending in chaos, I wouldn't be shocked, but would be happy to see Bryan, Orton, Michaels, Triple H, Big Show, Cody & Goldie and The Shield in a huge brawl to sign out the show.

Finally! King Bingus on The Wrestling Chronicle's Piledriver Podcast

I want to give a huge thank you to Erik over at the The Wrestling Chronicle for giving me the chance to be a guest on his Piledriver Podcast show. This really is a big deal for me.

After finding a good use for Twitter by tweeting as KBW I soon stumbled upon @WrestlingChron and we had a few interactions and he read a couple of my tweets out on his show. This was a real compliment, because he didn't have to take the time out of his show to spread my tweets.

Does it matter if The Rock comes back?

Recently on an episode of the @SundaySegue Podcast Kinny asked me about my feelings towards The Rock returning...again. Since he asked me it's been whirling around in my head.
To me it is a bit of a mixed bag of thoughts, pros and cons with swings and roundabouts.
Do I dislike The Rock, nope. He's done nothing to offend me, infact all he has ever done is entertain me and literally millions.... AND MILLIONS like myself.

(Don't worry, I'm not putting a Hogan/Warrior WCW mirror joke here)

So why would I not be too bothered if we don't see the great one back in the squared circle?

7 Oct 2013

Four for RAW

Battleground served more as a three hour RAW preshow than a big PPV. But as a preshow it has done a damn good job of hyping up RAW tonight. Tonight we will see the return of the Rhodes clan, some form of advancement of the WWE Championship saga including Bryan, Orton, Triple H and now Big Show by the looks of things. We may also see seeds planted for a tag title defence for the near future!
There's a good chance that we will end up hearing from the newest Paul Heyman Guy and big guy, Ryback, crying about his ruined honeymoon.
There's a lot that could happen tonight, some of it way more obvious than other and I am excited to see what seeds will be planted going into the last quarter of the WWE calendar.

Can anything really happen on RAW? I would love it to. Can you imagine if tonight a WWE Championship match was set and we got a new actual champion? I would love it to! Whenever we get to see a new champion on RAW it's pretty much always an awesome night.
Despite the image above, I am not even suggesting it should Bryan. Orton, Big Show or even a relative outsider such as Ziggler, Ryback or Punk would make for a good Monday night.

Sunday Segue Battleground Predictions

I must be doing something right because Kinny Killa and Sugs asked me to join them on their Sunday Segue Podcast. This weeks episode is a four man effort as @TopRopeElbow joined us to shoot the breeze on last Monday's RAW and give out Battleground predictions.

Battleground isn't exactly going in with all the bells and whistles but that shouldn't stop you enjoying the actual show. There is a few opportunities for advancements and new chapters from tonights card involving a number of Superstars.

Ziggler VS Sandow
I'm going for a Ziggler win here. Just by the logic that the briefcase is extra weight on the owners shoulders, making it harder to seemingly kick out. But will this Kickoff match be the last we see of Mr. Money in the Bank tonight?

22 Sept 2013

There is no pleasing some

To paraphrase the 16th President of the United States, Abraham Lincoln,

You can please some of the people some of the time, All of the people some of the time, Some of the people all of the time but you can never please All of the people all of the time.

Right now in within the IWC this is true in regards to the WWE and it's a great shame. 2013 has shaped up to be a truly remarkable year for WWE with the use of new talent, making good use of established names and heading in a new direction. Keeping well within their PG shackles they have proved they can still make for brilliant TV and top flight action.

Prior to 2013's momentum the IWC and the Universe was up in arms, screaming for a new face to take over from Cena. Of course we had the Summer of Punk but Cena was still taking charge in most of that, champion or not.
Many of us felt disgruntled, feeling like the WWE was ignoring its "key & most important" fan sector. Truth being WWE was just doing what its always done in cycles and thats pull in its new fan base. The future fan base, without which they wouldn't be able to entertain anyone let alone the "key & most important" fan base.
If you're a twitterer there's a very good chance you've seen a tweet or two today professing that the Attitude Era needs to come back and use "real" wrestlers.
